Holly Christopher is thrilled to be a part of the Troy School District staff. As a graduate of the district, she has personally experienced the quality education that students receive in Troy Schools.
Ms. Christopher earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University. Following graduation, she accepted a fifth-grade teaching position in the Berkley School District, where she taught for 10 years. During that time, she earned her Master of Education Degree at Wayne State University.
Ms. Christopher stepped out of her role as classroom teacher when her children were young. During her time away from teaching, she maintained her teaching certificate through coursework, and began working on her second Master of Education Degree, this time with a major in Kinesiology.
Currently, she teaches 7th and 8th Grade Science. Given Ms. Christopher’s latest educational endeavor in Kinesiology, it should be no surprise that she enjoys many physical activities. She loves running, biking, hiking, yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, skiing, etc.
Ms. Christopher is grateful every day as she pulls into the parking lot at Smith to begin her teaching day, a profession that has been a life-long passion.
