Mrs. Stepp received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Central Michigan University in 2004 and her Master’s of Arts in Education from Michigan State University in 2011. This is her eighth year teaching middle school math.
Mrs. Stepp started her career in Pontiac and taught sixth, seventh and eighth grade over her four years in the district. Then in 2009 she moved to Louisville, Kentucky and taught sixth grade math for three and a half years and was math department chairperson and team leader. When she moved home to Michigan in December 2012, she was a math intervention teacher at Grand Blanc East Middle School. This is Mrs. Stepp’s first year in Troy and she is excited to call Smith her home school for a long time to come!
In her free time Mrs. Stepp is an avid reader, enjoys boating with her husband and dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
