Jessica Garrett is in her eighth year as a school psychologist (third year at Smith). In addition to serving Smith, Dr. Garrett also serves Wass and Schroeder Elementary schools in the role of school psychologist.
Dr. Garrett completed her undergraduate work at Eastern Michigan University in Elementary Education, received her Master Degree in School and Community Psychology from Wayne State University and her Ph.D. from Wayne State University in Educational Psychology with a cognate in Developmental Psychology. Dr. Garrett is also part of the adjunct faculty at Wayne State University where she teaches psychological evaluation classes in the Theoretical and Behavioral Foundations division. Dr. Garrett also works as a therapist at a local mental health facility.
In her (very limited!) free time, Dr. Garrett enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her daughter and husband, and reading mysteries and thrillers.
