Hi! My name is Veronica Krozek and I have been teaching art in the Troy School District since 2007. I received my B.A. degree from Oakland University. I graduated with honors with a double major in Art History and Studio Art and minored in French. After graduation I worked at Meadow Brook Hall in the curatorial department. I went on to work on a grant funded project through Wayne State University cataloging the fashion collection of Meadow Brook Hall. I enrolled in Wayne State University and graduated with my Masters Degree in Teaching with a focus in Art Education.
I currently teach at Smith Middle School and Larson Middle School. Due to my background in curatorial work, many of my lessons are strongly influenced from art history. My goal is to introduce my students to new media and new types of art.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy traveling with my husband and daughter to see as my masterpieces in person as I possibly can. I also enjoy gardening, biking, cooking, writing and spending time with my two cats.
