Georgia Sebastian (Spanish) has resided in Michigan all her life. She attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she was a member of the Association of Educators. She graduated from UM-D in December 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hispanic Studies with distinction, along with a certification in secondary education. Her minor subject area was social studies. In April 2003, she graduated from UM-D with a Master of Arts degree in education.
In May 2000, Mrs. Sebastian studied abroad in Valencia, Spain, and hopes to go back there in the future. Prior to becoming a part of the Smith staff, Mrs. Sebastian worked at the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills, at Troy High School, and completed her student teaching requirements at Troy Athens High School.
When Mrs. Sebastian is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, and reading!
